Life just keeps getting weirder

Ellen and I have just had a few days away, a boat on the Great Ouse - blog about that little adventure to follow, anyway, while we were away my house got broken into! Fortunately it was the empty flat I'm selling and even more fortunately, it was the police that broke in!!!

All this because the prospective buyers went round to see the flat, with the estate agent, WITHOUT consulting me first. If they had then they would have known the stop cock was off for a reason and they flat below would indeed start to flood if anyone turned it back on, aaaaaargh!
