Grrrrrrr

Just when I think there is no question the web can't answer quickly and easily it lets me down, and it's always with what feels like the most basic question!

Today's example is, How much will it cost to park a car at the train station in Norwich from 14:00 on Saturday to 18:00 on Sunday?

The council have a great site for finding a car park and it even tells you how many spaces there are available - in real time! The problem is, it doesn't seem to have any info about associated charges, aaaargh!

Google Local couldn't help, One Railway's site can only tell me that it costs £6.60 for 24hr and even when I found the Riverside website (where the car park is) it still wasn't clear what it would cost for 28hrs or indeed if you are ok to park there for that long!

I've been forced to contact a real person, by email of course, to see if they have the answer...

Peter Pan Syndrome

Now this was a great use of some of that free time I was talking about. When some of Ellen's family came over yesterday with their nippers, myself, David (father of Dylan), oh and Dylan of course, merged huge Lego with toy soldiers and each built a fort. Mine was looking great until Dylan and his Dad suddenly joined their two forts together making a mega fort - from this point I knew that my guys were going to struggle :-(

I realised that I might be taking to seriously when I built some steps to ensure that my plastic soldiers could reach their gun emplacement.

What shall I do?

It's 8:20 on Saturday morning and I'm slowly starting to panic! The reason for this is that Ellen and I are not going anywhere this weekend, I don't have any houses to clean or repair, I've done all my current wedding related jobs (although I'm sure a new batch is imminent) and so although we have some of Ellen's family coming over today I'm pretty sure I am going to have a few hours of spare time this weekend, argh! what will I do?!?!
I am well known as an absolute nightmare in this situation, for example, as I'm writing this I am also mentally writing a list of all the things I could do with this free time; wash the cars, go for a cycle, paint a door I've been meaning to paint for ages, play xbox, read a book, install Windows Vista and get media streaming round the house, update the look of my blog, tidy the shed, wander round the shops, go to the coast...
