Fun in the countryside
As the weather was so nice today, Ellen and I decided to go for a picnic in the country.
Below you can find, our transport, our future house, a very small frog and a stile we decided not to go over ;-)

Proud to be British
I always forget how amazing the Red Arrows are! I saw them again on Sunday at the British GP and once again they blew me away, a couple of pics...

Dazed and Confused
Live 8, G8, London get the 2012 Oympics, London get Bombed!
An emotional time to say the least.

Something you don't see everyday...
Yesterday morning I saw a man waiting, in the rain, to use a phonebox! Yes that's right, he couldn't get into the phonebox as there was someone else inside already using the phone.
The odd thing is that my first thought was that there must be something wrong with the main BT line in that area. Then my imagination started to runaway with me and I wondered if he was using a pay phone so that he couldn't be traced by whatever secret agency he was calling ;-)

Thank God It's Friday!
Well it's been a crazy week, especially since the tenant in my house in Derby decided she'd rather not move out even though she has no legal right to remain in the property!
Anyway, I am now an expert in housing law and understand the intricacies of both a Section 8 order and a Section 21. Exciting huh!
So given the week from hell I have decided to open one of my wine club wines and appreciate it's bold fruitiness with significant gooseberry overtones - the world is now a nice place again...

Train Update!
Man there are some freaks on public transport! I am actually quite concerned about the guy opposite me, he has some weird stretching thing going on were he completely contorts himself!
Also, the bacon smell was very quickly replaced by a burnt smell. To be honest I'm not sure whether this was a good or bad thing.
Why why why.....
..did I have some cereal before I left the house this morning and then find a seat on the train right next to the bacon sandwich coach?!?!?
I'm on my way to London, it's 7:15 and all I can smell is bacon. Whilst this would normally be a good thing, I have stupidly filled myself up with rather unexciting Crunchy Nut Cornflakes :-(
Don't make the same mistake people!
