Time saving
So yesterday a guy arrived at work at the exact same time as me and parked his 5 series in the same car park I park my 21 speed Trek 3700 in. There is short walk, probably about 2 minutes, from the car park to the office and being the super efficient computer geek I am I thought I had worked out the shortest route for said walk. Therefore, can you imagine my surprise/dissappointment when this guy appeared in front of me as I turned the corner having originally had him behind me! Luckily I spotted where he came out of and so today I was able to use the very same cut through, which I think probably saves a good 20 seconds :-D
Then I got thinking and wondered what this revelation would mean over the course of a year, so, 52 (weeks in the year) - 10 (holiday entitlement+bank holidays+working away from the office+sick days etc) * 5 (number of working days in a week) * 40 (total amount of seconds saved walking to and from the car park) / 60 (to give an answer in minutes) = 140 minutes!
Now all I need to do is decide how to spend this amazing time saving.

Unbelieveable!
No wonder the game of football has so many problems with it's suppporters when well respected World Class players like Zidane find it acceptable to headbutt opponents to the ground! What with this and all the various dives and appeals from earlier games (yes Portugal I mean you) I really don't know why I bother watching - how dissapointing :-(
Come on France!
Well it's 1-1 so far in the World Cup final for and whatever reason I find myself supporting France. Perhaps it's because I have had so many great holidays there or perhaps it's because my Grandfather lived there for a large portion of his life, either way, come on France!
